Idyllwild Arts Summer Program

Auditions for some programs. Founded in 1950. Age eight through college; 40–60 people enrolled in chamber music, 60–100 each in two orchestras. One-week and weekend courses for adults, and two-, three-, and four-week courses for children and teenagers, in music, dance, theater, visual arts, and writing. Campus set in 205-acre alpine forest. Jazz Camp West

An eight-day jazz-education and performance program for adults and teens of all musical levels. Students perform and jam in the redwoods of La Honda, Northern California. Jink & Diddle School of Scottish Fiddling
