The Southern Ontario Chamber Music Institute

Stanford Jazz Workshop Jazz for Strings Program

Jazz Camp is for ages 12–17, no prerequisites except basic knowledge of your instrument. Jazz Residency is for adults/advanced students; prerequisite is a practical knowledge of the 12 major scales played over two octaves. Instruction is scheduled alongside general jazz workshop activities so string players can join other players in lectures, clinics, and jam sessions. The Swannanoa Gathering
